The Joust brake winch is quite simply the safest, most user friendly net winch available.

Gone are the days of flying handles and grease covered linear winches. If you have an old style barrel winch with a quick release you'll know how dangerous they are as gears and handles fly around when tension is released. Likewise, if you have a linear type winch you will be farmilliar with the lack of adjustment, the need for special chains on your nets and the grease covered mess that comes out of the winch. None of this is a problem with a brake winch. Brake winches require the user to wind the net up and down, there's no dangerous quick release. They are a barrel style winch so they have infinite adjustment and ANY size net/cable can be used. They don't require the user to add pieces of chain to their net.The gearbox section is fully enclosed to keep fingers out and grease in! It comes with universal fitting holes so it can be fitted to ANY manufacturers poles quickly and easily.
